Alejandro and Franco stood victorious by vanquishing Paquito and Martin in the charismatic encounter of CDMX open 2021 Final

 and Alejandro Ruiz have conquered World Padel Tour against the eighth-time finalist pair of Martin Di Nenno and Paquito Navarro

It was a three-set fierce competition between two best pairs of the present era which ended with attestation of extreme valiant of Ruiz and Stupa. This was their second win in the padel court against the same pair in 2021.

Though Nenno and Navarro failed to win the title, but the duo ended up the number one pair in Madrid for the year 2021. 


A Glimpse of Semis

After conceding an easy win over Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello, Martin Di Nenno and Paquito Navarro paved their way to eight consecutive finals to aim for the fourth title of the year.

On the other hand, Alejandro Ruiz and Franco Stupaczuk stumbled in their first set of semis against Miguel Diez and Miguel Lamperti. But Pozzoni players (Sputa & Ruiz) soon bounced back to mark a safe win (2-6, 6-2, 6-1) to ensure their spot in the finals for the fifth time in a single year. 

They had already knocked out Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan in the quarter-finals —the second-best pair of the tournament. This thrilling journey made them shoot for the second title for the year, but this time it was World Padel Tour. 


Unrolling the CDMX Open 2021 Final

The final of CDMX Open 2021 unfolded with a fierce start by Ruiz and Stupa in the padel court. The Pozzoni players took a convincing two-break advantage to mark four points on the board. Though Nenno and Navarro showed some resistance by scoring two points, but it was not enough to win the opening frame. 6-3 was the opening frame’s score, precisely the start which the winning player was looking for!

Navarro and Nenno made a comfortable comeback in the second set by restricting the opposition to just three points. The valiant attitude helped them to win all the service games, which enabled them to own the second set of the padel game. 

The thrilling final of CDMX Open 2021 now entered the jaw-dropping decider! 

Stupa and Ruiz bounced back to mirror the opening frame’s performance. The Pozzoni pair continued their dominance in the third frame after getting a starter of 2-0. 

This momentum pushed Franco Stupaczuk and Alejandro Ruiz to triumph in CDMX Open 2021 and the title number two of the year. 

Undoubtedly, Navarro and Nenno showed a spectacular display of Padel, but at the end of the day, there can be only one winner. That day, title, and glory will always remain with the names of Stupa and Ruiz.
